COVID-19 - Alistair Hugo is closing for a few weeks...

As we all know these last few weeks have been unprecedented in so many ways. The latest government guidelines and nationwide shut down has forced our hand and like many businesses we have no choice but to close until further notice. We have decided to respect and adhere to the social distancing and isolation to protect our staff and customers.

Although all forms of hospitality have ground to a halt, we are making the best of the situation and playing our part. We are currently using our fleet of vans and pool of drivers to help City Harvest in their valuable work. This wonderful food charity redistributes an amazing amount of food every day and helps to keep the most vulnerable members of our society well fed, from the homeless to the elderly.

At our Kitchen unit we still have a skeleton team working for as long as we can. Tess and Ana are cheffing in the kitchen cooking off fresh produce to be frozen, which we hope to be able to distribute to our staff over the coming weeks. Dom is in the office keeping business life ticking over during these difficult times.

We anticipate being closed until the end of April, but will of course regularly review the situation.

Personally and professionally this is a challenging time for us all. Please stay in touch and let us know your situation and when you think business will resume your end and we will look forward to delivering some delicious food to you once again.

Until then keep safe, stay positive and we will see you on the other side...

All our best wishes

From the team at Alistair Hugo
